Follicleanse® | Deep Cleaning Shampoo
A first step in to faster hair growth, is to ensure you have adequately cleaned your scalp and hair with a deep cleaning shampoo. Oil, sebum, dirt and bacteria can plug hair follicles and inhibit hair growth. Bacteria also plays a role in damaging the shaft and bulb - especially during the hair's growth phase.
Follicleanse deep cleans with Zinc PCA to kill bacteria, help block and inhibit DHT, and cleanse the scalp of dirt and oils. Emu oil is an active ingredient which is a natural anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and anti-microbial. This makes Folliclea nse® super-effective at ridding the scalp of hair plugs of dirt and but oil, but helps soothe the scalp, reduce inflammation and destroy bacteria which often leads to hair loss or thinning.
Follicleanse® is a deep-cleaning shampoo created and proven to remove bacteria and dirt from the hair and scalp...it targets the root of the hair where the hair actually grows and where build-up is difficult to clean. Follicleanse uses the strongest, most effective natural ingredients, yet is not harsh or harmful to the skin or scalp - like most inexpensive shampoos and conditioners.
Recommended Directions for use:
1) Dampen (not soak) hair before putting Follicleanse® shampoo on your hair. This allows the shampoo to reach the scalp before a moisture barrier builds up.
2) Thoroughly rub and massage into scalp and hair.
3) Leave on your scalp for 1-2 minutes.
4) Rinse and repeat.
Follicleanse® is our most effective shampoo for removing dirt, oil and product build-up on your hair, and it is important to use a conditioner on your hair as well. A good daily conditioner such as our No Weight® Conditioner works best. For a deeper, richer conditioner, we recommend Silk Protein and Amino Conditioner.
Follicleanse® should be used at least 4 times per week for the first month; afterwards, use twice per week unless your hair is constantly exposed to contaminants. Other shampoos such as Emu shampoo or Vitamin shampoo can be used on the days that Follicleanse is not.
As a note, none of our shampoos we recommend contain sodium laurel sulfate (SLS) which can irritate the scalp and cause further hair problems.
